Business Information
Register your business details so Stoked can submit your A2P 10DLC campaign registration with Twilio. This is required for communities that send SMS messages.
What is A2P 10DLC?
A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person 10-Digit Long Code) is a registration system required by US mobile carriers for businesses that send SMS messages through standard phone numbers. Completing this registration helps ensure your community’s text messages are delivered reliably and are not flagged as spam.
Filling Out Business Information
Navigate to Settings and click Business Information. The form has four sections.
Business Entity
Enter your organization’s legal details exactly as they appear in government records.
- Legal Business Name — Your registered business name.
- Business Type — Corporation, LLC, Sole Proprietorship, Non-Profit, Partnership, or Co-operative.
- Business Industry — A short description of your industry (e.g., Technology, Healthcare, Education).
- Company Type — Private, Public, US Non-Profit, or US Government.
- Registration ID Type — The type of government-issued ID: US EIN, US SSN, or US TIN.
- Registration Number — Your registration number (e.g., 12-3456789 for an EIN).
- Website URL — Your organization’s website.
Business Address
Enter the registered address of your business, including street address, city, state, postal code, and country code.
Regions of Operation
Select all geographic regions where your business operates. Options include Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, and USA & Canada.
Point of Contact
Provide the person responsible for this A2P registration.
- First Name and Last Name
- Title — Their role (e.g., CEO, CTO, Director).
- Email and Phone
After completing all fields, click Save Brand Information.
A2P Status
The status card at the top of the page shows where your registration stands:
- Draft — You are still entering information. You can edit all fields freely.
- Submitted — Your information has been sent for review. Fields are locked and cannot be edited.
- Approved — Your registration has been approved and your community is cleared for SMS messaging.
A readiness indicator shows how many fields still need to be completed before submission. Once all fields are filled in, the indicator changes to “Ready for submission.”
After your brand information is submitted, it cannot be edited. Double-check all fields before the Stoked team submits your registration. Contact stoked-help@stokedhq.com if changes are needed after submission.
Troubleshooting
- Cannot edit fields — Your brand information has already been submitted. Contact support to request changes.
- Missing fields warning — Check the readiness indicator to see how many fields remain. All fields are required for a complete registration.
- SMS not delivering after approval — A2P registration is one step in the SMS setup process. Make sure your community also has a phone number assigned. See Phone & SMS for more details.
