Using the Activity Inbox

The Activity Inbox is your central hub for managing community activity. It shows items that need your attention across conversations, introductions, applications, and integrations.

What Appears in the Inbox

  • New conversations - When a prospect starts chatting with an advocate
  • New messages - Activity in existing conversations
  • Pending introductions - Introductions waiting for follow-up
  • Advocate applications - New applications to review
  • Reward requests - Activity requests from advocates or integrations awaiting approval (see Activity Definitions)
  • Shopify connection alerts - Notifications when a Shopify Integration connection is locked due to an issue (automatically archived when the connection is repaired)
  • Unknown SMS - Messages that couldn’t be routed

Advocates and prospects are color-coded in inbox entries so you can tell at a glance who’s on which side of a conversation or introduction without reading the names.

Shopify Attribution on Reward Cards

When a reward request is linked to a Shopify order, the inbox card shows additional context: the order amount, attribution source, discount code used, and refund status. If no order is attributed, an amber No order attributed badge appears instead.

Managing Items

Statuses

  • Active - Items needing attention
  • Snoozed - Temporarily hidden (will reappear later)
  • Archived - Completed items

Actions

  • Mark as read/unread - Track what you’ve reviewed
  • Snooze - Hide temporarily and review later
  • Archive - Move to completed

Auto-Resurface

Archived items automatically move back to active when there’s new activity, so you never miss important updates.

Multiple Admins

Each admin has their own read/unread status. Your inbox view is personalized to show what you haven’t reviewed yet.
