Location Report
Find advocates whose private mailing address and public map pin don’t match, or who are missing location data entirely. Useful after CSV imports, when advocates update their address but not their public profile, or when a pin has been manually dragged far from its original address.
How to Open the Report
- Go to Settings.
- Click Reports.
- Click Location Report.
The report runs live against your current data — no setup, no scheduled job.
What the Report Shows
Each advocate in Stoked has two locations on file:
- Advocate address — the private mailing address used internally (not shown to prospects).
- Public profile address — the address that powers the pin on your community map.
These usually match, but they can drift apart. The report lists every advocate whose two locations are further apart than a threshold you pick, plus anyone missing location data altogether.
Distance Threshold
Pick the threshold from the More than dropdown at the top of the report:
- More than 5 miles
- More than 10 miles
- More than 25 miles (default)
- More than 50 miles
- More than 100 miles
The report updates as soon as you change the threshold.
Columns
| Column | What’s there |

| Advocate Address | The private mailing address (or “—” if not on file) |
| Public Profile Address | The map-pin address (or “—” if not on file) |

Missing Data is Flagged Separately
Advocates with incomplete data appear at the top of the report regardless of threshold, each tagged with one of:
- No advocate address on file
- No public profile address on file
- Advocate address missing GPS coordinates
- Public profile address missing GPS coordinates
These are usually the highest-priority rows to fix — a missing GPS coordinate means the advocate can’t appear on the map at all.
Common Causes of Drift
- CSV imports — an import set the advocate address but the public profile geocoded to a slightly different location, or vice versa.
- Advocate updated their mailing address — but never updated their public profile through their advocate site.
- Pin was manually dragged — an admin (or the advocate) moved the pin on the map, leaving the underlying addresses in disagreement.
- Address change after activation — the original geocode is stale.
Fixing a Flagged Advocate
From the report row, use the action links to jump straight to the right edit screen:
- Edit Advocate Address opens the advocate’s mailing-address editor.
- Edit Public Profile Address opens the public profile editor where the map pin lives.
After saving, refresh the report — the advocate should drop off the list (or move to a lower threshold).
