Suggesting Tag Changes

Your community may let you suggest tags for your own profile. An admin reviews every suggestion. Nothing changes until they approve it.

How to Suggest Changes

1. Open your Profile page
2. In the Tags row, click Suggest changes
3. Tick the tags you want added. Untick the tags you want removed
4. Submit

If you do not see Suggest changes, your community has not turned this on.

The page only lists tags you are allowed to suggest. Tags are grouped. Some groups let you pick one tag, with a None choice. Others let you pick several. A hint such as “Choose at least 2” or “Choose up to 3” is a guide only.

Checking on a Suggestion

Each tag shows its status:

• Awaiting review: an admin has not decided yet
• Approved: your tag was added or removed
• Not approved: the admin did not apply it

You are not sent a message when an admin decides, and no reason is shown. After Not approved, you can suggest the same tag again.

To take back a suggestion that is still Awaiting review, untick it and submit.
