Community FAQs

Create and manage frequently asked questions for your prospects and advocates. FAQs display as expandable accordions on their respective sites.

Two Types of FAQs

Stoked supports two separate sets of FAQs:

  • Prospect FAQs - displayed on your public community site, visible to anyone considering joining your community
  • Advocate FAQs - displayed on the advocate site, visible only to signed-in advocates

Each set is managed independently with its own list and ordering.

Managing FAQs

To manage either set, go to Settings > Library, then click Prospect FAQs or Advocate FAQs.

Creating a FAQ

  1. Click Add Prospect FAQ or Add Advocate FAQ
  2. Enter the Question (required, up to 255 characters)
  3. Enter the Answer (required, up to 10,000 characters)
  4. Click Create

New entries are added to the end of the list.

Editing a FAQ

  1. Click Edit next to the entry you want to update
  2. Update the Question or Answer
  3. Click Update

Reordering FAQs

Use the Move Up or Move Down controls next to each entry to change the display order. The display order on the public or advocate site matches the order you set here.

Deleting a FAQ

  1. Click Remove next to the entry
  2. Confirm the removal when prompted

How FAQs Display

FAQs appear as an accordion list on their respective sites. Each question is a collapsible header that visitors or advocates click to expand and reveal the answer. Entries display in the order you configure in the admin portal.

  • Prospect FAQs appear on the community site under a “Frequently Asked Questions” heading
  • Advocate FAQs appear on the advocate Library page below any library items, also under a “Frequently Asked Questions” heading

If no FAQs exist for a given type, that section does not appear on the site.
