Understand the Stoked plan tiers, what’s included in each, and how to upgrade or downgrade.


Plan Overview

Stoked offers three plans. Every community is assigned a plan tier that determines feature availability and advocate capacity.

All plans include core features like the advocate map, conversations, introductions, inbox management, and the application system. For full pricing details, visit the Stoked pricing page.


How to Tell Which Plan You’re On

Go to Settings — the Your Plan card at the top of the page shows your current tier, advocate usage, and which features are included. You can also see your plan name when hovering over a disabled feature, where a tooltip will explain the limitation.


Reaching Your Advocate Limit

Each plan has a maximum number of advocates. When your community reaches its limit:

  • The Add Advocate button on the Advocates page will be disabled
  • The Approve button on pending applications will be disabled
  • Hovering over a disabled action will show your current plan and a prompt to contact support

Existing advocates are not affected — you can continue managing, editing, and communicating with all current advocates. The limit only prevents adding new ones.


Conversation Limits & Overage

Each plan includes a set number of conversations per month. You can track your current usage in Settings → Your Plan.

When your community exceeds the included conversation count, additional conversations are billed at the per-conversation rate for your plan:

  • Basic: $1.00 per additional conversation
  • Pro: $0.65 per additional conversation
  • Enterprise: Unlimited — no overage charges

Conversations are counted on a monthly basis. Existing conversations are never interrupted — the overage rate applies only when new conversations are started beyond your plan’s included amount.


How to Upgrade

To upgrade your plan, contact the Stoked team:

Include your community name and let us know what you’re looking for. We’ll help you evaluate which plan best fits your needs and handle the transition.


How to Downgrade

If you’d like to move to a lower tier, contact the Stoked team at stoked-help@stokedhq.com. We’ll walk you through what changes and help ensure a smooth transition.

Downgrading may disable features or enforce lower advocate limits. If your current advocate count exceeds the new plan’s limit, you won’t be able to add new advocates until you’re below the limit, but existing advocates will not be removed.
