Custom Fields

Your community may have set up additional fields to collect extra information from you. These appear naturally within your Account and Profile pages — not as a separate section.


Where Custom Fields Appear

Depending on how your community has configured them, additional fields will show up in one of two places:

  • Account page — Fields that contain private account-related information appear alongside your name, phone, and email.
  • Profile page — Fields related to your public profile appear alongside your bio and location details, and may be visible on your public profile.

Viewing Your Custom Field Values

To see your current values, visit the page where the field appears:

  • Account fields: Go to Account in the sidebar
  • Profile fields: Go to Profile in the sidebar

Fields that haven’t been filled in yet will show as “Not set.”

Some fields are filled in by your community admin and are read-only — you can see the value but cannot change it.


Editing Your Custom Field Values

If a field is editable, it will appear as an input when you edit that section:

  1. Go to Account or Profile in the sidebar (depending on where the field appears)
  2. Click Edit Details or Edit Profile
  3. Fill in or update your values in the additional fields section
  4. Click Update

Depending on the field type, you’ll see a text input, a text area, or a dropdown with predefined options.


Custom Fields on Your Public Profile

Fields placed on your Profile may also appear on your public profile page, visible to anyone viewing your profile. Your community admin controls which fields are shown publicly.

If you have questions about which fields are shown publicly, contact your community admin.
