Customizing Map Pin Colors

Customize how advocates appear on your community map by setting pin colors at the community level or per tag.

Default Pin Color

Set a default color for all advocate pins:

1. Go to Settings > Customizations
2. Find Default Pin Color
3. Enter a hex color code (e.g., #e53b2a)
4. Save

Tag-Based Colors

Override the default color for specific groups of advocates using tags:

1. Create or edit a tag in Settings > Tags
2. Set a color for the tag
3. Enable Override Default Pin Color
4. Save

Advocates with that tag will show the tag’s color on the map.

Use Cases

• Different advocate types - Sales team in blue, support in green
• Language groups - Spanish speakers in one color
• Experience levels - Premium advocates highlighted

Multiple Tags

If an advocate has multiple tags that override pin colors, the tag with the highest position (first in order) takes precedence.
