Editing an Advocate’s Social Links
As an admin, you can add or update social media links on any advocate’s profile.
How to Edit Social Links
- Go to Advocates in your admin portal
- Click on the advocate you want to edit
- Click Edit Profile
- Scroll down to the Social Accounts section
- Enter or update the URL for each platform
- Click Save
Only platforms that have been enabled in your community’s Social Platforms settings will appear here. See Configuring Social Platforms to manage which platforms are available.
URL Format
Each platform requires a valid URL. For example:
- Instagram:
https://instagram.com/username - X:
https://x.com/username - LinkedIn:
https://linkedin.com/in/username - Strava:
https://strava.com/athletes/username
If you enter a URL without
https://, it will be added automatically.
URLs are validated to make sure they match the expected platform. For example, entering a Facebook URL in the Instagram field will show an error.
Removing a Social Link
To remove a social link, clear the URL field for that platform and save the profile. The icon will no longer appear on the advocate’s public profile.
