Testimonials

Let advocates share their experience through testimonials that display on their public profiles. You can enable the feature, collect testimonials during the application process, and manage individual testimonials from the admin portal.

Enabling Testimonials

The testimonials feature is disabled by default. To turn it on:

  1. Go to Settings in the navigation
  2. Click Testimonials
  3. Toggle Testimonials Enabled to on

When enabled, advocates will see a Testimonial option in their dashboard sidebar and can add a testimonial to their public profile.

Disabling testimonials hides all testimonial UI from advocates and public profiles. Existing testimonials are preserved and will reappear if you re-enable the feature.

Collecting Testimonials on Applications

You can include a testimonial question on the advocate application form so new advocates provide one when they apply.

  1. Go to Settings > Testimonials
  2. Toggle Collect on Application to on

When an application is approved, the applicant’s response is automatically saved as their testimonial.

This option only appears when testimonials are enabled. Applicants are not required to fill in the testimonial field.

Managing an Advocate’s Testimonial

You can add, edit, or remove a testimonial on behalf of any advocate.

Adding a Testimonial

  1. Go to Advocates and select the advocate
  2. Click the Testimonial tab
  3. Click Add Testimonial
  4. Enter the testimonial content (required) and an optional title
  5. Click Add Testimonial

Editing a Testimonial

  1. From the advocate’s Testimonial tab, click Edit
  2. Update the title or content
  3. Click Update Testimonial

Removing a Testimonial

  1. From the advocate’s Testimonial tab, click Remove
  2. Confirm the removal when prompted

The testimonial will be removed from the advocate’s public profile immediately.

How Testimonials Display

When an advocate has a testimonial, it appears on their public profile. The display includes:

  • An optional title
  • The testimonial content
  • The advocate’s name as attribution

If an advocate has no testimonial, the section does not appear on their profile.
