AI Assistance

Choose whether Stoked generates AI summaries and suggests quick replies for your community’s conversations.

What It Controls

The AI Assistance card has two switches:

  • AI summaries covers AI summaries and sentiment
  • Suggested quick replies covers the suggestions Stoked makes about which of your saved quick replies fit a conversation

Both are on by default. Each one can be changed without affecting the other.

How to Change the Setting

  1. Navigate to Settings > Inbox in the Community Admin dashboard.
  2. Locate the AI Assistance card. The badge next to each switch shows whether it is On or Off.
  3. Click the button for the switch you want to change, for example Turn off AI summaries or Turn on suggested quick replies.
  4. If you are turning AI summaries off, confirm when asked.

You need the Can manage settings permission to see the Settings section.

AI Summaries

Turning AI Summaries Off

When you turn AI summaries off:

  • Stoked stops generating summaries and sentiment
  • The AI summaries already written for your community’s conversations are permanently deleted
  • The AI summary panel is hidden in the inbox and on the conversation page

Deleted summaries cannot be recovered. Turning AI summaries back on does not restore them.

Turning AI Summaries Back On

Deleted summaries are not restored. A new summary appears for a conversation once it receives new messages, about ten minutes after the last message in a burst.

Suggested Quick Replies

Turning Suggested Quick Replies Off

When you turn suggested quick replies off:

  • Stoked stops suggesting quick replies in conversations
  • The current suggestions are cleared

Your saved quick replies are not affected. They stay available in the quick reply menu.

You are not asked to confirm, because nothing is permanently deleted.

Turning Suggested Quick Replies Back On

Suggestions return as prospects send new messages.

Safety Screening

Automated safety screening of messages is separate from both switches and always stays on.
