Advocates can schedule time away
FeatureWeek of July 20, 2026
Going on vacation with your phone off? Advocates can now pause new messages without leaving prospects hanging — and it turns back on automatically.
- Advocates schedule their own time away — a new Time Away page on the advocate site lets advocates pick their away dates, choose a mode, and write an optional away message (“I’m away until Aug 2 — check back then!”) shown on their profile in place of the message form. Multiple future periods can be scheduled ahead of time.
- Two modes — Away keeps the advocate visible in the community but pauses new messages; Paused also hides them from the advocate listing and map. Leaving the return date blank pauses indefinitely — for advocates stepping back for a while.
- Automatic return — when the “back on” date arrives, the profile returns to exactly how it was before, including any custom contact box the admin had set up.
- Existing conversations keep working — time away only pauses messages from new prospects. People an advocate is already talking with can still reach them, and admin-made introductions aren’t blocked.
- Admins can manage it too — each advocate’s page in the admin portal has a Time Away card for scheduling on an advocate’s behalf, and the roster shows Away/Paused badges so you can see who’s unavailable at a glance.
No admin action required.
