Email advocates when you approve their application

You can now send an automated Application Approved email to advocates the moment you approve their application — no more sending welcome notes by hand.

Application Approved email — turn it on under Settings > Advocate Applications > Application Approved Email. Like the other application emails, it’s off by default and fully editable (subject, header, and body), with a live preview. The default congratulates the new advocate, lets them know a welcome text is on the way, and links them to their profile and your handbook.
Merge variables — personalize the email with variables like the applicant’s first name, your community name, their profile link, and your handbook link.
External handbook URL — if you host your handbook on your own site, add its address under Settings > Library > Handbook. The {{handbook_url}} email variable, the advocate handbook link in the sidebar, and the handbook links on your application pages will all point there (and open in a new tab). Leave it blank to keep using the built-in handbook page.

No admin action required — your existing application emails are unchanged.
