Prospect funnel now tracks 'started messaging' for every community
ImprovementWeek of June 14, 2026
The Prospect funnel report (Settings → Analytics) now measures when a prospect begins filling the contact form, not just when they finish the two-step form. Previously that middle step only registered for communities using the two-step contact form, so one-step communities saw the funnel jump straight from “Profile views” to “Message sent” with nothing in between.
- New “Started messaging” step — fires the moment a prospect types into the contact form (name, phone, or message), on both the one-step and two-step forms.
- Two new top-line rates — Profile → started and Started → message sent replace the two-step-only tiles, so the headline numbers work for every community.
- Two-step breakdown, when it applies — the “Contact form (2 steps)” detail (step-1 starts, step-2 back-outs) now only appears for communities running the two-step form.
- History filled in where we could — past sessions that demonstrably started messaging (anyone who sent a message, plus two-step step-1 completions) were backfilled. Prospects who started a one-step form but never sent left no trace, so very old periods can read a little high on “Started → message sent.”
