Shopify offers now apply the coupon automatically and personalize the description

When you generate an offer from a Shopify discount, the Shop Now button now does what you’d expect — and offers are more personal.

The coupon is applied automatically — the Shop Now button now uses Shopify’s /discount/CODE link with the advocate’s own code, so the discount is in the cart the moment a shopper lands on your store.
Links go to your real storefront — the button points at your customer-facing store domain (e.g. yourbrand.com) instead of the internal .myshopify.com address.
Personalized headline & description — both fields now support merge variables. Generated offers ship with a friendly default description, and you can type { in the Headline or Description field to insert the advocate’s first name, your brand name, a custom field value, and more.

Find it under Settings → Shopify → Discount Codes → Generate Offer, or edit any offer under Settings → Offers. No admin action required — existing offers are unchanged until you edit them.
