Maps get their own settings page

Improvement

Week of October 30, 2026

Saved maps moved out of Settings → Widgets into their own page, Settings → Maps.

  • Copy embed code right from the list. Each map shows a one-line summary, like “Boston, MA · Metro · Rent a bike”.
  • Seen on: each map lists the pages of your website where visitors loaded it in the last 30 days, so you can check what an edit changes before saving.
  • Search by map name, place, or page address.
  • A ⋯ menu on each map: Use on community site, Duplicate, and Delete.
  • A simpler editor: pick where the map starts, which owners it shows, and whether visitors can filter, with a live preview. Size options (width, height, full-bleed) now sit next to the embed code, since they belong to each page’s code and aren’t saved with the map.

The Where is this map used? note is gone, replaced by Seen on. The rest of Settings → Widgets is now Settings → Floating Button. Existing embed codes and map links keep working.
