Clearer errors when naming a quick reply command
FixWeek of July 6, 2026
Following the forgiving quick-reply matching update, quick reply commands are lowercase words separated by dashes. The admin form now guides you there instead of quietly mangling your input.
- Numbers and underscores are rejected with guidance — typing a command like
promo1orlearn_morenow shows “must be letters and dashes only” instead of silently dropping characters (which could collide two commands into one). - Blank or unusable commands still get a friendly error — no more confusing failures when a name can’t produce a command.
No admin action required. Existing quick replies are unaffected.
