Send yourself a test of any notification email

Preview shows you an email in the browser — but it can’t show you how it actually lands in Gmail, Outlook, on your phone, or in dark mode. Now you can send yourself the real thing.

Send test email — next to the Preview Email button on every notification settings page (wallet credited and debited, application confirmation and approved, new application alerts, new conversation and message alerts, and email verification), there’s a new Send test email action.
Goes to you by default — the recipient is pre-filled with your admin email address, and you can change it to any inbox you want to check. You’ll see an instant Sent ✓ confirmation, or a clear error if something went wrong.
Real branding, sample details — the test uses your community’s real sender, reply-to, links, and branding with a placeholder recipient (e.g. “Ada Lovelace”), so you see precisely what your advocates and prospects will get — without approving a fake application or touching any real data.

No admin action required. Send a quick test before enabling a notification to make sure it looks right everywhere.
