Redesigned Settings navigation, a new Operations section, and sticky breadcrumbs

Improvement

Week of June 19, 2026

We reorganized how you move around the admin portal as the number of settings has grown, and split configuration from operations.

  • Persistent Settings sidebar — clicking into a setting now keeps a navigation rail on the left, grouped into General, Messaging, Advocates & Prospects, Content, and Integrations & Embeds. No more bouncing back to a grid between settings, and the rail stays put (and keeps its scroll position) as you move around.
  • New Operations section — a new top-level Operations area (keyboard shortcut g o) gathers everything where you inspect or act on live data, rather than configure: Location Check, Reply Speed, Advocate Identifiers, Message Log, Pending Deliveries, and Data (import/export). These moved out of Settings to /operations/….
  • Settings is now just configuration — with the operational tools moved to Operations, Settings holds only the knobs that change how your community behaves.
  • Search settings from the command palette — press ⌘K (or ?) and start typing to jump straight to any setting, e.g. “branding”, “sms”, or “wallet”.
  • Sticky breadcrumbs — the breadcrumb trail stays pinned beneath the header as you scroll, across the admin and advocate portals, so you always know where you are.
  • Canned Responses dropped its Beta label.

No admin action required — these tools simply live under Operations now, and any old /settings/… bookmarks (Reports, Message Log, Pending Deliveries, Data, and the rest) redirect there automatically.
