No more stuck conversations after out-of-band verification
FixWeek of June 8, 2026
Occasionally a prospect would verify their phone or email outside the conversation flow (for example, after a code expired and a new one was sent), leaving their message stuck in a pending state — never delivered to the advocate, with no way for anyone to fix it. Both sides can now recover:
- Prospects can send their message — a verified prospect returning to their pending conversation now sees a “Send your message” button instead of being asked to verify again. Their message goes to the advocate only when they choose to send it.
- Admins can activate from the inbox — pending conversations with an already-verified prospect now show an Activate Conversation action in the inbox (previously this state showed no actions at all), which releases the message and notifies the advocate.
- Login routes prospects back to unsent messages — a prospect who logs in with a pending conversation now lands directly on the send-your-message screen (or their conversations list if they have several), instead of the community home page.
- Conversation lists show status at a glance — the prospect and advocate conversation lists now have a Status column (“Awaiting your reply”, “Awaiting Todd’s reply”, “Needs attention”, “Closed”). For prospects it replaces the message count.
No admin action required.
