Advocates who land on the community site get pointed to the right place
ImprovementWeek of June 1, 2026
Some advocates were signing in on the public community site with their email or phone and unintentionally creating prospect accounts — when they actually meant to log in to the advocate portal to manage their profile and conversations.
Two gentle nudges now help them find the right place:
- A link on the community login page — “Are you an advocate? Sign in to the advocate portal” is always shown, so advocates can correct course before they even sign in.
- A one-time banner after signing in — if someone verifies on the community site and their email or phone also belongs to an active advocate, they see a banner linking to the advocate portal.
Both are suggestions only — nobody is blocked from using the community site, and the check runs after sign-in, so it never reveals whether an email or phone belongs to an advocate.
