Revived conversations now come with context
ImprovementWeek of September 6, 2026
A prospect who returned to a long-dormant conversation used to reach the advocate as a plain reply — just their name and message, with no hint of who they were or that the thread had been sitting closed for months. Advocates reasonably read it as a text from a stranger.
Now, when the previous message in a conversation is more than six weeks old, the advocate gets a new Reopened Conversation Notification instead:
Hi Lelac, Claire B. picked your Bunch Squad conversation back up after 11 months:
Can I rent your bike when it’s available this week? Thanks.
You can reply directly to this message, or tap the link to see everything you two discussed before:
It names the prospect, says how long the conversation was quiet, and points at the existing thread rather than pretending the conversation is brand new — so advocates can catch up on what was already arranged instead of starting over. Anything more recent than six weeks still arrives as a normal reply notification.
Admins can edit the wording under Settings → Message Templates, including a new time_since_last_message merge variable (“11 months”) available to conversation templates.
