Long conversation texts with emoji are delivered again
FixWeek of November 6, 2026
When a long conversation message was forwarded to an advocate or prospect by text, Stoked shortened it to fit, but it counted every character as if it were plain text. An emoji or other special character makes the whole text use more space, so some shortened messages were still too long and the carrier rejected them. The recipient never got the text.
- Long relayed messages now always fit, emoji or not, and end with a link to read the rest.
- Long introduction messages are shortened the same way, with the link to the full introduction below.
- Shortened plain-text messages are now cheaper to send, because the “read more” note uses plain characters only.
